Biographies
Christine Ince, M.D.
Dr. Christine Ince was born in Seattle, Washington, grew up in California and spent 18 years in Houston prior to moving to Alexandria, Louisiana in 2000. She received her medical degree from Howard University in Washington DC and completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Texas in Houston, Texas. Dr. Ince went on to complete her fellowship in medical oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in 1988 and has been a practicing Oncologist since then. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. In 1997 she received her masters of science in health care administration and was inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Dr. Ince holds memberships in several professional medical societies. She is an associate medical director for a local hospice and is on the Sickle Cell Foundation board. Dr. Ince has a special interest in medical research and is the local principal investigator for the Sarah Cannon Research Institute. She is a strong advocate of healthy lifestyle as a way of disease prevention and gives health education lectures in the community. Dr. Ince is married with two daughters.
