The Hematology Oncology Life Center is the only privately-owned physician outpatient cancer clinic in central Louisiana. Our physicians admit patients at both Rapides Regional Medical Center and CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

The Hematology Oncology Life Center is ready to assist you with a compassionate team of three hematologist/oncologists, a physician's assistant, a complete nursing staff, medical technologists, phlebotomists and administrative staff.

Our oncologists diagnose benign and malignant hematologic disorders and offer treatment when necessary. They also diagnose and manage oncologic disorders, administer outpatient chemotherapy, coordinate surgical and radiation treatments, handle necessary lab work, offer experimental protocols and participate in national clinical research protocols.

All of our nurses have completed chemotherapy administration training courses, and many of them are certified by the Oncology Nursing Society. They have a combined 68 years of nursing experience.

The members of the laboratory team of Certified Medical Technologists and Phlebotomists have a combined 32 years of experience. They offer most of the work a patient needs in their COLA-accredited lab, saving them travel elsewhere to complete necessary tests.

In an effort to recognize their patients and families, the Hematology Oncology Life Center, LLC hosts an annual National Cancer Survivors Day celebration each May.
